He holds a degree in Biology from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s in Food Biotechnology from ETSIB (Barcelona School of Engineering). He received the Extraordinary Award in the Executive MBA program at INESE and completed the Advanced Course in Organization and Commercial Management at the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.
Over the course of his professional career, he initially worked in the Clinical Analysis Laboratory of Hospital San Juan de Dios and subsequently held various positions of responsibility in marketing and sales, as well as commercial and divisional management roles in several companies in the healthcare technology sector, particularly in the field of in vitro diagnostics:

Division Director, Check Up, at Menarini Diagnostics S.L.
Sales Director at Dade Behring S.A. (now SIEMENS)
Marketing Director at Dade Behring S.A. (now SIEMENS)
Since 2000, he has served as Director of Fenin Catalunya. He is a member of the European boards of COCIR and MedTech Europe, and Chairman of the NAC (European National Associations Committee). He is also the European representative at the “Late Payment” Observatory. Within Fenin, he has been responsible for the In Vitro Diagnostics sector and, until November 2023, for the Clinical Information Technology and Systems sector.
