- Título de la conferencia: “How can biomedical engineering change medicine? The example of cardiology”
Héctor Bueno is head of Clinical Cardiology (Cardiology Department, Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, Madrid), PI of the Multidisciplinary Translational Cardiovascular Research Groups at the Spanish National Cardiovascular Research Center (CNIC) and imas12 Research Institute, and Associate Professor of Medicine, Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is an advisor for the Ministry of Health and Scientific Coordinator of the Strategy on Cardiovacular Health of Spain´s NHS. Dr. Bueno has >460 publications in journals with >100,000 citations (h index, 81). He has chaired or served in several committees of the European Society of Cardiology, American Heart Association and Spanish Society of Cardiology.
